Corona Mall In For A Hip Revamp

The developer of the The Camp in Costa Mesa and the Anaheim Packing District has paid $1.9 million to renovate a portion of the Corona Mall.

The revamp includes plans to restyle and bring ‘restaurants, breweries, boutique retail and gathering places’ to the struggling 1967 open-air shopping center.

The mall is unusual because it has several owners. This has hindered the City’s previous efforts at revitalization. The City no doubt hopes the developer can revitalize the mall by brining the same youthful and modern sensibility exhibited in his previous Orange County projects.
